Free Personality Number Calculator
Your Personality number reveals how other people perceive you and the first impression you make. It is calculated from the consonants in your full birth name.
How is it calculated?
All consonants are extracted from the full name. Each consonant is converted to its Pythagorean value, summed, and the result is reduced to a single digit or master number.
- Identify all consonants in your full name
- Assign the Pythagorean value to each consonant
- Sum all values
- Reduce to a single digit (preserving masters 11, 22, 33)
Consonants, in the Pythagorean separation, represent the external structure of the name — the framework others perceive before knowing the internal motivations (vowels).
Pythagorean Correspondence Table
Each letter maps to a number from 1 to 9 based on its position in the alphabet
| 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A = 1 | B = 2 | C = 3 | D = 4 | E = 5 | F = 6 | G = 7 | H = 8 | I = 9 |
| J = 1 | K = 2 | L = 3 | M = 4 | N = 5 | O = 6 | P = 7 | Q = 8 | R = 9 |
| S = 1 | T = 2 | U = 3 | V = 4 | W = 5 | X = 6 | Y = 7 | Z = 8 |
Frequently asked questions
Which letters are consonants in the Pythagorean system?
All name letters except A, E, I, O, U and their accented variants. In English this includes B, C, D, F, G, H, J, K, L, M, N, P, Q, R, S, T, V, W, X, Y, Z.
Can master numbers appear in this calculation?
Yes. If the sum of the consonants in the name equals 11, 22, or 33, it is preserved as a master number rather than reduced to a single digit.
What is the mathematical difference from the Soul Urge?
Both use the same Pythagorean table on the same name, but operate on different subsets: the Soul Urge sums the vowels and the Personality sums the consonants. Together they form the two components that are added in the Expression number.
